BETH GULLETTE, PH.D.
|
Beth Gullette, Ph.D. is a senior faculty member and coaching subject matter expert at the Center for Creative Leadership.
A licensed clinical psychologist and OD professional with nearly 20 years of experience, Beth has held research and clinical positions at Duke University Medical Center and she led the learning and development function for a national pharmaceutical consulting firm for several years.
Beth is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), APA’s Division 13 (Society of Consulting Psychology), the National Organization Development Network, and TODN, where she has served on the Board since 2008 and is beginning her second term as President. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University.

JILL TRACY
|
Jill Tracy has enjoyed over 20 years of training and OD experience in a variety of industries. Currently in her role within Global Learning and Development at Quintiles, Jill manages Leadership Development in both North and South America, as well as provides OD solutions for teams and Clinical and Commercial business lines.
Prior to Quintiles, she drove the success of technical and soft skill learning initiatives at Pfizer. She has served as Director of Training and Development at The Sagamore, a private island resort located in the NY Adirondack Mountains. There her customized OD interventions led the business to earn one of the highest industry rankings globally.
Jill is a certified facilitator for managers (DDI) and earned an M.S. in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in NY.

DR. LEIGH SHAMBLIN
|
Dr. Leigh Shamblin is a resourceful international development, organizational effectiveness, and business performance professional with 20+ years of global leadership experience. Leigh currently serves as a Senior Program Manager for IntraHealth International and is Owner/Change Champion for Mimosa Park Consulting.
Prior to returning to the US in 2008, Leigh worked with the US Agency in International Development in Macedonia and Jamaica and on USAID-funded projects in Central Asia and Central and Eastern Europe.
She holds a Ed.D. from NC State and an MBA from UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School. In addition to serving on the TODN board, Leigh serves as an Advisory Board member for UNC's Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER).

SUSAN McCANDLESS
|
Susan McCandless is an Executive Coach and OD Consultant with a focus on leadership development. Her extensive experience as a Senior Leadership Consultant and Coach at Verizon Business covers over 20 years of management and leadership in many areas of operations, including OD.
Susan has created Leadership Development Programs for top talent leaders resulting in a shift in culture as well as acceleration of leadership and performance skills. Most recently, she has served as a leadership coach in UNC’s Executive Development program and the London School of Business.
She has an MA in Organizational Management and Development from Fielding Graduate University, certification as a Business Coach from Duke University, and an Evidence Based Coaching certification from Fielding. She holds a Professional Coach Certification (PCC) from ICF. In addition, she coaches TED Fellows, via the SupporTED program.

Lynn Duffy is an Executive Coach and Organizational Development Consultant who uses her expertise to help drive positive and sustained change.
She has over 20 years of business management and senior HR leadership experience across an extensive range of industries, including global financial services, healthcare, consulting and pharmaceuticals.
Lynn has designed and implemented talent management systems and initiatives including Executive Assessment, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Organization Design and Team Effectiveness. She has lead organizational effectiveness initiatives including organizational restructuring, merger and acquisitions and business process improvement.

NANCY GUSTAFSON

Nancy Gustafson, Ed.D is a Talent and Organization Development Coach and Consultant.
Nancy is a life-long educator, starting her career as a teacher in the NC Public School System,moving to adult learning as Staff Development Coordinator in North Carolina State Government, and jumping to private industry as head of the Talent Management Center of Expertise for three family owned businesses: Guilford Mills, First Citizens Bank and CARQUEST/GPI.
Nancy’s passion is designing and delivering learning strategies to impact individual, team and organizational performance. What she finds most exciting about organizational learning is the opportunity to impact employee engagement, retention, and development and demonstrate the link to business performance. Nancy received her Masters in Education from ECU, her doctorate in Adult Education from NCSU and recently completed NCSU’s Business Coaching Certificate Program. This is Nancy’s third time serving on the TODN Board.

Chris Tunstall is a Senior Leadership and Organization Development Consultant for SAS Institute. His role is focused on delivering leadership programs and OD solutions that drive innovation and improve company performance.
Chris has spent more than 20 years in leadership, teaching, and OD roles in a range of organizations including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Virginia, Circuit City Stores, Lowe’s Companies, Ingersoll Rand and the University of Richmond.
His true passion is helping others to identify their goals and inspire them to transform their lives. Chris and his wife, Jewell, are adoptive parents to Payne and Kate and reside in Cary. Chris earned an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Radford University.

Bob Stapleton, CPCC, is the founder and President of Live Oak Leadership, a leadership development and coaching practice committed to helping leaders see and think in new, clear, and powerful ways. He specializes in creating powerful alliances designed to forward and enhance the lifelong process of human learning, effectiveness, and fulfillment.
Over a 30 year career, Bob held executive roles in HR and operations with Delhaize Group, a global food retailer. From 2008 to 2011, Bob was Senior VP of HR for Food Lion, with 1,300 stores and over 75,000 associates. In addition, Bob also held senior leadership roles at Lee Hecht Harrison, a career services company and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
As both an HR professional and business leader, Bob brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective on what it means to lead in dynamic and challenging environments. Bob is passionate about making learning simple, fun and lasting and is dedicated to bringing this vision to life.

MARK BETTGER, MBA

Mark A. Bettger, MBA: Mark’s professional passion to improve interpersonal dynamics in the workplace led him to pursue a Masters in Business Administration after 10 years of success in sales and business development spanning several industries. Mark received his undergraduate degree at Berklee College of Music in Music Business Management.
Starting his professional career as a sales representative in the music products industry, Mark was exposed to the many facets of interpersonal relations needed to build successful business relationships. As a result, Mark developed the ability to establish a friendly and productive rapport amongst his clients ranging from CEO’s to office administrators. Mark’s consultative and disarming demeanor proved to be his strongpoint in generating new business and providing quality service.
With a passion for effective communication and interpersonal relations Mark obtained his MBA with a concentration in Organizational Behavior at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School.

MELONY JOHNSON
|
Melony Johnson is a graduate student at North Carolina State University pursuing a PhD in Workforce and Human Resource Education. She has focused much of her graduate studies in organizational change and learning.
Melony is a skilled educator, facilitator and emerging researcher. Her most recent publication has been with a co-authorship entitled, “Collaboration between higher education and business/industry using action learning approach” presented at the 2010 Academy of Human Resource Development conference. As a graduate student, Melony has sought to build a bridge between classroom learning and industry for herself and her peers. Not only does she hope to gain a stronger research base, but explore practical opportunities that merge both scholarship and practice.
Melony is also actively involved in ASTD-RTA, Academy of Human Research Development. Melony earned her MA in Human Resource Education from the University of Minnesota.
